Pregnancy is a LONG road--see what I did there? 😉--and while there's a ton of importance placed on taking care of ourselves *during* those months, sometimes we forget how important it is to do the same *afterwards,* too. With Emma, I wasn't the best about this (just so overwhelmed!), and I definitely saw and felt the effects. I was sick frequently, lost a considerable amount of hair, and was exhausted. (Definitely more so than I should have been with an infant!)⁣
