welcome to our new series, GAME DAY EATS! every week my husband will be cooking up our favorite game day eats to enjoy while watching our favorite team, @philadelphiaeagles 💚🦅🏈 this week, my husb is cooking up smoked beef cheeks from @thebutchershoppe_to that he smoked on our @traegergrills and we’re serving it up with his famous maple butter cornbread! find the recipe below and let us know what other game day foods you want to see! xx 

Maple Butter Cornbread 
Serves 4 

6 tablespoons melted, plus butter for baking dish unsalted butter
1 cup cornmeal
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
4 tbsp maple syrup 
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large lightly beaten eggs
1 1/2 cups buttermilk

Maple Butter 
2 tbsp butter, melted 
2 tbsp maple syrup 
Pinch of kosher salt
