One of my favorite parts of our hectic days is something that Mitch and I call "taking our five" -- now with BlackBoxSpirits. After we put Emma to bed and clean up the house, we either sit on the couch or front porch--weather-dependent, of course--and catch up over whiskey (for Mitch) and wine (for me). And sometimes, admittedly, we just try to catch our breath. 😂 Tonight, he mixed up a classic Manhattan cocktail, which was so much easier than I thought it would be. Simply shake up two parts #BlackBoxSpirits whiskey, one part vermouth and a few dashes of bitters... and toss in a couple of maraschino cherries and an orange peel... and you'll be having the best "five" in no time! Of course, I opted for #BlackBoxWines Chardonnay, because I love climbin' those mountains. 😉 (Anyone? Anyone?!) Check out blackboxspirits.com for more details. Black Box Spirits is new to Illinois, with new states coming soon. For 21+. #ad
