one of my most viral recipes is my spicy vodka pasta, and since it’s gone viral over a year ago- I decided to make a few tweaks to the recipe! What I love most about this recipe is how easy it is to make & of course, so tasty! find the recipe below, enjoy xx

Spicy Vodka Pasta 
Serves 4 

Ingredients 
5-6 bacon strips 
2 garlic cloves, grated 
1 box pasta of choice 
1/2 cup pasta water 
1-2 tsp chili flakes 
1 small container tomato paste
1/2 cup whipping cream or heavy cream 
2 tbsp unsalted butter 
Salt & pepper 
1 handful basil, chopped 
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated and divided 
1 tbsp olive oil 
1 oz. Vodka 

Directions 
1. Cut bacon into small pieces and cook over med-high heat. Once cooked, add to a plate lined with paper towel and set aside. Bring large pot of salted water to boil and cook pasta according to box instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water. 
2. Add olive oil, grated garlic and chili flakes to a large sauce pan. Toast chili flakes over med-high heat. Add in tomato paste and cook tomato paste for 5-6 minutes. Deglaze pan with vodka and let alcohol cook off for 5-6 minutes. 
3. Bring heat to low-med heat and add in cream. Mix together until combined. Add in salt, pepper, butter and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Let sauce cook for 5-6 minutes on low heat. 
4. Add in cooked pasta and toss until all pasta is coated. Add in pasta water and keep mixing together. Add pasta to plates and top with basil, black pepper and Parmesan cheese. Serve and enjoy!
