EASY & DELICIOUS TURKEY RECIPE! 🍁 Thanksgiving is looking a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy with your family! While I usually am serving a very large turkey for my thanksgiving meal- this year I’m opting for a smaller canadianturkey since I’m just eating with my family! It’s very important that we continue to support local Canadian turkey farmers, which is why a smaller turkey is perfect for you and your family! Also, turkey makes for the best leftovers aka BEST OVERS! There are so much you can do with leftover Turkey - think Friend’s moist maker! I decided to pair my turkey with honey glazed potatoes, homemade stuffing and roasted carrots! wishing everyone a very lovely thanksgiving! Don’t forget to save & share the recipe below! xx #Ad #ThinkTurkey

Easy + Delicious Turkey & Gravy Recipe
Ingredients
1 8-10 lb Turkey
2 onions, halved
4-5 Large Carrots, peeled
Handful rosemary
Handful sage
Salt + pepper

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 325F degrees. Wash turkey and drain juices. Remove giblets and neck from turkey. PAT DRY the turkey (very important) with a paper towel.
2. Oil a shallow roasting pan and place 1 slice onion and carrots at the bottom of the pan. Place turkey breast side up and make sure to tuck in the wings to prevent burning. Season the inside of the turkey with salt + pepper and stuff the rosemary, sage and halved onion inside the turkey.
3. Place turkey in the oven (I had a smaller turkey and cooked it for 2 hours). Your turkey is done when the temperature with a meat thermometer is 180F in thigh and 170F in breast.
4. Place turkey on platter and let stand for 15 minutes before serving. Add the vegetables from the bottom of the pan to a bowl and serve.
TO MAKE GRAVY
5. Add all of the juices from the bottom of the pan into a blender or food processor. Blend until you have a smooth consistency. If your gravy is very loose- heat it up over a saucepan and add 1-2 tsp of cornstarch until sauce thickens.
6. Serve & enjoy! xx
