What you can expect at baby’s first doctor’s appointment.

Okay I may have exaggerated about giving birth less than 24 hours ago 🙈 BUT the pediatrician usually wants to see baby 2 days after discharge. I get discharged from the hospital at 24 hrs so it’s usually around 72 hours post birth that I have to get up, put a fresh diaper on both myself and the baby, get dressed, pack up the baby and get them to the doctor’s office 🤪

I understand why this appointment is important but man do I wish it was a house call. I remember being so soar and exhausted going to my first baby’s doctor appointment. 

Of course my husband could take them but my babies are a part of me for almost 10 months, ain’t no way I am able to be away from them when they are just 3 days old ❤️❤️
