It's funny how something as simple as a black dress can make all the difference in your confidence. I just gave birth five weeks ago and was a guest at a wedding over the weekend. Obviously, I am not at my pre-pregnancy weight yet, so I needed a dress that would fit, look flattering on me, and easy to nurse in. This rachelparcell not only hit all the marks, but it made me feel more confident! It may be "just" a dress, but it really made a difference for me!

I try to focus on the amazing accomplishment my body just did, but I can't help but feel uncomfortable in my skin at times. Having this wedding forced me to do a little something for myself. I got my hair and makeup done and bought myself a gorgeous new dress, and for the first time in weeks, I felt confident and more like myself!

I am pretty adamant about only showcasing clothing from Amazon, but this dress is just so perfect for mamas who are nursing and just had a baby that I had to share! It hugs you in all the right places, has the most flattering fit, and because it is a wrap dress, you can alter the neckline to be lower or higher. This feature was especially important to me because I needed an adjustable neckline to nurse my baby easily. The best part about this dress is I can wear it when I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight as well! It is one of those dresses that look great on you regardless of your size! The subtle puff shoulder sleeve detail gives this dress a stylish and chic finish. The material is soft and elegant, and I felt gorgeous in it all night!

Although the dress is not from Amazon, the shoes and waist belt are! I initially saw this dress on rachparcell, and she had paired it with these gorgeous Valentino pumps! Now, I don't know about you guys, but I do not have a Valentino budget, so I found these dupes on Amazon for $50!!!! I was very proud of this find because, in my opinion, they look almost identical! However, I am pretty sure the comfort level of these shoes is a lot less than the designer ones. 😉
