"I'm sorry to tell you Ms. Jones, the reason why you can't breastfeed your child is because we've detected a lump and need to do a biopsy." This was in 2003, I was 20 years old when I was diagnosed with ICD or invasive ductal carcinoma. My life was on an immediate emotional rollercoaster. After months of chemotherapy, I lost a lot...including my hair, eyebrows...etc. I thought I would lose my life, but GOD!

October is breast cancer awareness month...please, do regular self-examinations, ask your doctor about anything you feel suspicious about, and mammogram you boobs, don't Instagram your boobs...lol!
