Foster care, adoption, foster-to-adopt, kinship care...all comes with an emotional rollercoaster that are filled with beautiful highs and frustrating lows. 7/25/21, was one of those beautiful highs! After what seemed like an eternity, we can finally file the paperwork to officially adopt Karleigh! Being her mother over the past 7 years has been one of the best things of my life. Making it official will be the cherry on top!

While we have had legal temporary custody of Karleigh we are glad we get to now make it official!! Adult adoption is a beautiful thing. At the end of the day we all have that sense of belonging no matter our age❤.
