I swear y'all amaze me with the stupidity and ignorance daily!

I'm not sure why in 2021 people still feel threatened by multi-racial families. There have to be some sort of "ulterior motive" to adopting a white child because there's no possible way it was just for love! 🙄
.
The reality is, black and brown children deserve good homes. Statistically, they are in fostercare longer than white children and are more likely to age out. I have fostered black and brown children and thank God they were able to reunify with their birth families. That don't always happen. Would we have adopted one of those children had their plans moved to adoption, in a heartbeat!! 
.
Fostercare is complicated. One thing that shouldn't be complicated is giving a child love, encouragement, stability, compassion, etc...regardless of skin color. Because that's your job as a foster parent. At the end of the day, the children no matter their color do not deserve to be denied a forever family because of skin color.  Leave your racism out of the fostercare/adoptive system, thank you 😊
