Yesterday, I was exhausted. Yesterday I was feeling down. I got up at 5 am, meditated, and prayed that Lupus would not be a stronghold on my body. I had 3 doctor's appointments back to back and didn't get the news I was hoping for. 

Just those few task alone made me extremely exhausted. I pulled up at my house, sat in my car for about 20 minutes contemplating how I was going to put on the happy mom face and make lunch for the kids then finish remote learning with my middle son while entertaining my youngest son. Little did I know, my family was already preparing to give me a break without them even knowing I needed one. 

As I went in the house,my husband told me to get ready so we could "ride out"...I wanted to contest abd tell him I was tired abd I didn't feel like it. I'm glad I didn't. I'm glad I listened to my husband. My mind and body needed it. He said that the girls were going to hangout with their brothers while we went to lunch. 

The teenagers, took their brothers on a picnic lunch and even finished helping Ayden through remote learning. They enjoyed their time together. Since they are going off to college in just a few short months, the time spent is even more precious now. 

They sent me this picture and I swear, although it's not professional, glamorous, and Boosie is picking his nose, this is my favorite picture! It captures just the essence of my children. All different bio moms. All different bio dads. All different birth families. All different stories. All different circumstances. Now, each one is forever connected through pure love with the same set of parents who loves them without borders!
