Toffee⁣
2 sticks butter, room temperature⁣
1 cup granulated sugar⁣
1/2 tsp salt (very important!)⁣
⁣
4 cups potato chips⁣
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips/gems⁣
Flaky salt⁣
⁣
Spread chips onto a quarter baking sheet, the make the toffee. You need full attentiveness to have success making toffee. In a small pot, add room temp butter, sugar and salt over medium heat. You need to stir gently and constantly for 10-12 minutes until it turns brown and you have liquid toffee. Then immediately pour it over the chips. Add chocolate chips right away so they melt. Freeze for 5 minutes until the chocolate sets. Break into pieces and enjoy! #toffee #holidaytreats #toffeebark
