Join us at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, for a panel discussion hosted by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office regarding the potential reopening of the Juvenile Detention Center (JDC). The panel will feature Sheriff Garry McFadden (@sugarfreetalk) and William Lassiter from North Carolina Department of Public Safety (NCDPS) (@ncpublicsafety). 

This panel aims to clarify ongoing misconceptions about the JDC's closure and to educate the public with a clear understanding of the real needs and conditions for reopening the facility.
