Seven kids have been charged in connection with an attack on a young mom and her son near a Chicago school last month. According to authorities, the incident happened when a 33-year-old woman and her 9-year-old son were walking near an elementary school when "a group of offenders approached and struck the victims multiple times." Those charged include three 10-year-old boys, a 10-year-old girl, an 11-year-old girl, a 12-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl.⁠
