Behind today's final door, we reveal a shared vision for future mobility and exceptional driving dynamics: The bespoke RECARO seats for the all-electric Polestar 5. 🛠️✨

This collaboration with PolestarCars perfectly fuses sustainable design, advanced ergonomics, and our core 'Driving Performance' DNA. The seats are designed to capture the essence of a modern Grand Tourer, prioritizing both support and comfort as well as enabling a low and sports car-like seating position. Delicately positioned behind the driver directed steering wheel this seat Design offers a very dynamic, “in control” and driver-focused layout that defines the car’s true performance character.

The Facts & The Vision:
+ Next-Gen Platform: The Polestar 5 is the first production car to feature the RECARO Sports Seat Platform, developed to strengthen the connection between driver and vehicle and support a focused, performance-oriented driving experience.
+ Slim Architecture & Driving Position: The slim, low-profile seat design enables a low seating position behind the instrument panel, lowering the H-point and enhancing an immersed, sports-car-like feel. This positioning plays a key role in shaping how the driver sits in the car and how connected he feels to it.
+ Performance Ergonomics:
The seat geometry is developed to reinforce a controlled driving posture, offering the body support expected from a RECARO performance seat. Each element is designed to ensure precise support and stability, contributing directly to driver confidence and control.
+ Driver Interface & Control: A subtle difference is the angle of the steering wheel, which is more upright and directed towards the driver, giving a more dynamic, “in control” feel of the car.
