Not all pain is the same and neither are these meds. Here’s when each one makes more sense:

• Arthritis: Ibuprofen
• If you have Ulcers: Tylenol
• Fever: Either works
• Kidney issues: Tylenol
• Under 6 months old: Tylenol
• Pain above the shoulders: Tylenol
• Pain below the shoulders: Ibuprofen
• Dental work:
 – Bone involved → Ibuprofen
 – No bone involvement → Either
• Liver issues: Ibuprofen
• Body aches: Ibuprofen
• Tension headaches: Ibuprofen
• Flu aches: Ibuprofen first, then Tylenol if needed
