In partnership with Rubrikinc, this year’s Christmas With the Currys brought Holiday Book Fairs to elementary schools across Oakland. Rubrik’s support helped make each book fair a joyful experience for students.

Throughout December, 47 Oakland elementary schools became places of discovery, where students had time to browse, explore, and choose books to call their own. In total, 17,000 ousdnews students went home with four brand-new books each, putting 68,000 books into kids’ hands and homes.

Our partnership with Rubrik extends beyond the holiday season, strengthening our work across literacy, hunger relief, and access to play. We’re grateful to Rubrik for showing up for Oakland kids in a way that’s both meaningful and lasting. #ChristmaswiththeCurrys
