James Cameron’s #Avatar sequel added $24 million to its domestic total on Thursday, bringing its global total to $544 million.

A24’s #MartySupreme and Sony’s #Anaconda got off to good starts on their respective opening days with $9.5 million and $9.1 million. 

Note, however, that the Timothée Chalamet vehicle is playing at 2,668 locations compared to 3,509 for the Jack Black/Paul Rudd comedy.
