🚨PUBLIC SAFETY ADVISORY - #CASTAIC 

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies and the Los Angeles County Fire Department are responding to a possible gas line explosion near Ridge Route Road in Castaic.

Traffic & Area Impacts:

- Avoid the area of I-5 Freeway and Ridge Route Road, north of Castaic

- I-5 northbound is shut down from SR-126 to Templin Highway

Residents in affected areas have been advised to Shelter in Place.

Please continue to monitor official updates and avoid the area until further notice.
