Carmen Brown, proprietor of Furnitureland, opened her home in upper St Andrew on Christmas evening to host family, friends and extended relatives of Patty Hill from Hanover, many of whom are still coping with the trauma associated with Hurricane Melissa. 

The gathering featured an evening of fellowship and traditional Christmas fare, complemented by musical selections from Dwight Richards.
