The former Suffolk County Police officer who prosecutors said helped run a set of brothels where women were forced to sign contracts to perform sex work, pleaded guilty to three charges in a deal that will see him sentenced to about two years in jail.

George F. Trimigliozzi, 56, of Islip, pleaded guilty to three counts in Suffolk County Court: third-degree promoting prostitution, official misconduct and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
