The Glen Cove High School auxiliary gym floor is being replaced after testing found mercury vapor levels nearly four times above the limit allowed by the state, according to district officials.

Test results indicated vapor levels of 2.94 micrograms per cubic meter, officials said in a letter sent to the community. The state threshold is 0.75 micrograms per cubic meter.
