Hi all, we have two posts for today.

Everyone, meet Talia Lugo, an official of the Paraguay Rally event. 

Motorsports has been a passion since she was a child and Talia want to give thanks to her club - the Paraguayan Touring and Automobile Club – for giving her the opportunity to do the Technical Officials course which was an FIA program, instructed by the Technical Department of the RFEDA (Royal Spanish Automobile Federation).

Her mentors have trained her over the years, allowing her to participate as a Commissioner Technician, checking on the safety system of the cars including fire extinguishers, safety harnesses, FIA regulations and homologations. Not only has she officiated in her national events, but she had also participated in South American events, a first for a woman from Paraguay. She wants to give credit to her mentors for accompanying, motivating and giving her the opportunity to grow. 

Today, beyond her story, she wants to send my message to all the women officials around the world – “Limits do not exist when we want what we love, if you think you can't, think that there are many women out there, just like me, looking for a place for all of them, raising the voice that we women CAN, that if one door closes, another bigger one opens, that we can whenever we want and there is nothing that can stop us.

“Let's not wait for opportunities to look for us, let's look for opportunities because when we want it. Out there, in the world today, there are women drivers, mechanics, engineers, officials, and women who want to be part of it and to the latter, we say YES WE CAN!”
