#SomethinOuttaNothin Basketball Hall of Fame Edition ‘23

Haven’t posted these graphics I created in 2023 from that year’s Basketball Hall of Fame Ceremony. Decided to do it now with a timelapse and explanation as to how they were created. 

These weren’t built from stock assets or random textures.
They were built from real moments at the HOF

Every element you see in these graphics comes directly from the Basketball Hall of Fame ceremony, captured through my own lens while I was there.

I photographed the red carpet.
The orange Hall of Fame jackets.
The championship ring.
The basketballs.
The trophies.
The curtains, columns, carpets, and architectural details inside the building at hoophall 
Nothing was imagined. Nothing was downloaded.

I literally took photos of everything. Getting details most people walk past, knowing they’d eventually live again in a different form.

The goal wasn’t just to show who was inducted.
It was to recreate the feeling of being there, the weight of the moment, the history in the room and the energy that went into these players careers. 

This is why I shoot everything myself.
To me, details matter.
