## Caption

This past weekend marked my daddy’s 70th birthday. Grief is complicated. In the latest episode of @kintsugiconversations, my mom and I shared about our unique experiences losing a husband and father respectively. I think I’ve come to terms with the fact that my father is no longer with me physically (as much as I possibly can), but what is still hard for me to navigate is that my kids are growing up without their grandfather. I know he would be such a monumental figure in their lives, and I find peace in knowing that he still is, as he smiles down on them from heaven. I’ll always make sure that they know all about their Papa Charles ♥️
