It’s hard to believe that I’m already 6 months postpartum. It’s amazing what the female body does throughout the 40ish weeks of pregnancy, and it’s just as amazing what our bodies do after the fact, as they heal and shrink and settle into a new normal. With all the talk of snapping back and the constant pressure to lose the baby weight, postpartum body image can be a taboo topic, but I think it’s an important one and that we as mamas have to normalize all that comes along with it. Everyone’s journey is, of course, so different, but I’m sharing a little bit about my experience, how I’ve maintained my confidence, and what my fitness routine looks like as a new mom!
