Self-care isn’t all about spa days and bubble baths. For me, in this season of motherhood, self-care sometimes looks like doing what I need to do to prepare for the week ahead and putting my needs first without guilt. 

I give my all to my kids 6 days out of the week, but Sundays are for me. This means church is a nonnegotiable, screen time is acceptable if it means mom can get stuff done around the house with few distractions, and a babysitter comes so I can get out of the house kid-free. 

Mamas, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Taking ONE day to fill your own cup will help you pour into your family throughout the week 🫶🏾
