## Caption

Harper is the sweetest little grocery shopping buddy. Here in Japan, our grocery trips look a little different than they do at home, but she enjoys them just the same and always leaves with a yummy treat. We use Google Translate A LOT (@dequanmjones loves to tell the story about the time our first season in Japan when I bought and cooked a fish that we both thought was salmon…. It was NOT salmon 😂 lesson learned). Since we get around by bike, all of our groceries have fit in the bike basket, meaning that we shop multiple times a week. In some ways, our life here is a bit more complicated, but we move at a different pace and have a different mindset when it comes to living minimally instead of with excess, which makes things more simple at the same time.
