Whether you breastfed your babies for a day, a month, a year, or beyond... Whether you used a syringe, a bottle, fed straight from your breast, or did a combination… I salute you, mamas! Being able to breastfeed my two babies has been an honor and a privilege. 

This week is Black Breastfeeding Week! There are so many reasons why our babies are statistically breastfed less than their white counterparts and I just shared a post to my story that highlights exactly why we need #blackbreastfeedingweek. All mothers deserve to be equally educated on their options in terms of caring for their babies. All mothers deserve access to healthcare and resources, and this week is a step in the right direction.
