## Caption

6 months ago today at 37 weeks pregnant, I gave birth to my little peanut. I remember he felt SO small to me compared to his big sister as a newborn, but it only took him a few weeks to start packing on the pounds. He’s such a big boy now! 

Here are a few things I’ve learned in my 6 months as Jaxson’s mama: 

1. Having a son is different than having a daughter. I remember people telling me that my son would have me wrapped around my finger in a different way than my little girl. They were right. I have special relationships with each of my children and love them both equally, but it is different in a way that’s hard to explain.

2. I got used to dealing with his little penis. I know, this is probably weird to say out loud and a bit TMI 😅 but as a woman myself and a girl mom first, I was legit scared of it in the beginning. I’ve finally gotten over the fear of doing something wrong in that department! 😂

3. Whatever your oldest calls their younger sibling will become his nickname for the whole family. Harper calls Jaxson Bubby, so now we all call him Bubby. I thought his nickname would (obviously) be Jax, but I’m pretty sure he now thinks his name is Bubby or Bubs.

I can’t believe my littlest baby is already halfway to one. Adding him to our family has been one of my favorite adventures.
