It’s crazy how a change of scenery can provide such a much needed change of perspective. Before our trip, I could feel the burn out creeping in. My plate is full of things that I genuinely enjoy doing - caring for my family, managing @kintsugicandleco, tending to our garden... but it’s full, nonetheless, and even doing things we love and want to do can be draining sometimes. I was definitely feeling drained and our trip was a much needed mental break from the regular. This time of year is usually a little stressful for my family as basketball season approaches and we wait for news on where we’ll be off to next. Of course, considering the circumstances, this year comes with a unique set of stressors that we’ve never dealt with before. I’m so thankful that we could take a second to just BREATHE before the hustle and bustle of it all begins. I needed it ♥️
