Before I got pregnant with Harper, I was the heaviest I’ve ever been. I had just had brain surgery and the recovery process and the steroids BLEW. ME. UP. Still, I was so proud of my body for getting me through that without any lasting health issues. Fast forward 7 months post-op, I was pregnant and put on an additional 55 pounds to bring a beautiful life into this world. Again, I found myself in awe of my body for what it was capable of. I truly believe that we have to celebrate our bodies for all that they do for us, and mine has done a lot! Today I’m celebrating being two sizes smaller than my pre-pregnancy size, confident, and, most importantly, at my healthiest in more ways than one. I would love to be able to take full responsibility for this #snapback, but honestly, it’s largely due to breastfeeding and the decision I made a few weeks ago to invest in a clean nutrition solution that works for me as a busy new mama. Either way, I’m feeling so confident in the skin I’m in. Loving my body for all that it’s done for me, and all that it continues to do on a daily basis.
