Harper likes to nap on me. She takes her best naps in my arms (with my boob against her cheek #breastfeedingproblems lol). Sometimes I want to put her down so bad. My arms get tired and my shoulders get sore. I think about the million and one other things I could be doing if I could just lay her down. Then I realize that maybe this is my time to be still. This is my time to NOT do all the things, because while there are quite a few things that I can’t do while she’s in my arms like this, there are so many things that I can do, that I NEED to do, and won’t if I’m able to move freely. Maybe God is making sure I’m stuck under this sleeping baby so I’ll take advantage of the me-time - So I won’t cook or clean, but will write or watch trash TV or talk to Him... all things that I need to do for myself every now and then, but probably wouldn’t take the time to do if I wasn’t stuck under a sleeping baby. So thank you God and thank you Harper for forcing me to sit down somewhere and be still. .
