Thanks to my Facebook memories, I was reminded that 5 years ago today @dequanmjones and I celebrated our first Thanksgiving as newlyweds in Italy. Here we are today, about to celebrate another Turkey Day in Italy as a family of three - talk about things coming full circle! 
This lifestyle is hard and being away from home during the holidays is probably the most difficult part, but I’m so grateful for all that we’ve gotten to experience and all that we get to introduce our baby girl to during our time abroad. I’m so grateful for family and friends that travel to spend time with us because their presence make all the difference. Most of all, I’m grateful for these two smiling faces that I get to wake up next to every morning, because no matter where in the world we are, if I’m with them, I’m home. 📷: @_martinaeffe .
