Watching my husband still get excited about those kicks, twists, and turns like it’s the first time he’s felt them gets me every time. Seeing a man become a father is such an amazing thing. There’s so much attention on me as the one who’s carrying the child, but by the way his eyes light up when Harper moves in reaction to his voice or his touch, I can tell it’s a special time for him too. I’ve loved watching their bond develop and can’t wait to see how it continues to grow once she’s here.
