I often ask God to tell my my daddy things for me... "God, tell Daddy that I finally learned how to make baked mac n cheese after that one Christmas that he told me mine wasn't right and I spent the whole rest of the day in my room crying" (😂 I was a teenager - let's blame hormones). "God, tell Daddy that I really appreciate him for urging me to open my heart to DJ... it definitely paid off." "God, tell Daddy that I miss him."

Sometimes, I really really wish that I didn't have to have God tell him things, and that I could tell him myself, see his face, and hear his response verbally, but, whenever I have those moments, I know without a doubt that my daddy is in heaven telling God to tell me things too, and that makes things OK😇

Today, God, can you tell my daddy I said Happy Birthday? Can you tell him that we're all doing just fine here and that Mommy is happy? Tell him that not a day goes by that we don't miss him and tell him that I said thank you for still being with me in the small ways that count for so much. .
