So another story time, guys. A few months ago, my husband and I got the opportunity to work with an amazing brand, @solid_avenue. We absolutely love what they stand for and feel like their brand’s message, success only lies in determination, aligns perfectly with @dequanmjones’ story on and off the court. The brand sent us these awesome matching windbreakers, and we were all set to have a fun photo shoot in them to have some great images to share with y’all. Then, the day before we were supposed to take the photos, I had my consultation with the neurosurgeon and found out that I’d be having brain surgery within 24 hours. Needless to say, we had to cancel the shoot, and since, I honestly haven’t felt up to taking a lot of new photos of myself, because despite how much my family and friends reassure me, I feel like there’s still a little bit of swelling on the right side of my head. So, this just goes to show that you can make all the plans in the world, but sometimes, life literally just knocks you on your butt and all the plans go out the window. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
