Happy Monday to all TEN THOUSAND of you! TEN THOUSAND! I honestly can't even believe it! I'm so thankful that you're here to follow along on my journey towards mental, physical, and spiritual wellness and I hope that you won't be a stranger. Since I know a lot of you are new here, I thought it might be cool to share a few facts about myself so that we can get better acquainted:
1) In all of my 27 years, I have never had a whooping (or a spanking...whatever you want to call it). I was a pretty good kid, and I honestly responded so well to stern talking tos and time outs that my parents never had to lay a hand on me. Now as an adult, my mom is my best friend in the whole world. 
2) I'm a Virgo and I have my sign tattooed on my wrist. I'm not a fake Virgo, but a real Virgo in that my horoscope almost always describes me to a T. 
3) I've been eating sushi since I was 2 years old. I use to make "cookies" out of my sashimi tuna with specks of wasabi as the chocolate chips. Needless to say, sushi is my favorite food. I also LOVE chai tea. 
4) My husband and I started talking a few months before we left for school at the University of Miami. A mutual friend suggested that we get to know each other since we were both from Atlanta and going to the same college. I sent him a Facebook message, and, almost 10 years later, here we are! Moral of the story - shoot your shot, ladies! Slide in his DMs lol. 
5) My husband plays professional basketball and his career has taken us all over the country and the world. We've lived in Italy, Japan, and France.
