That’s why we partnered with outwardboundchesapeake and 2ltrichardcollinsfoundation for a three-year program with Maryland HBCUs.

The partnership and Building Bridges program will provide a space where Reserve Officer Training Corp (ROTC) students from diverse backgrounds can celebrate their differences and create a deeper understanding of each other through challenge and common experiences.

Eleven ROTC cadets from univofmaryland and bowiestateuniversity recently completed a five-day wilderness expedition. The expedition took the participants along a stretch of the Appalachian Trail with Outward Bound educators.
