Every day, our Communications Manager, Anjanae, shares the stories of children impacted by the legal system—often because they don't have the basic supports like a stable home or school to help keep them out of trouble. In this piece, she reflects on her own childhood and how easily her story could have ended differently if a few circumstances had changed.⁠
