“God gives his strongest warriors his toughest battles, and I am proud to be an Eczema Warrior.” 

Being able to share my eczema journey defines what it means to #FocusOnEczema. I am a pageant girl, model, actress, influencer. I am also a girl with severe eczema, a girl who is an NEA ambassador, and a girl who has matured and grown from battling my eczema everyday. Juggling the obstacles eczema throws in life, living in both worlds seems impossible. However, being able to meet so many amazing people in the NEA community helped me realize that no matter what, my eczema doesn’t define who I am.

Ashley Ann Lora, a role model of mine and an eczema superstar, preaches the 3 Ws: What do you want? Who do you choose to be? What are you commited to? I want to be someone who can motivate, inspire, and encourage others who are in a similar situation as I was. I choose to use my social media following and pageant platform to continue advocating for eczema awareness and research. And I am committed to being the best version of myself: the confident pageant, model, actress, and influencer, and the determined eczema patient, ambassador, and warrior.

With October being Eczema Awareness Month, let’s continue to push for eczema advocacy and research, uplift each other in the NEA community, and keep fighting our own battle against our eczema. It’s time to #unhideECZEMA and be the best version of ourselves❤️❤️❤️
