Dude came out wagging his tail

Wild boar have that slightly unhinged energy where you’re never quite sure if they’re just minding their own business or about to cause absolute chaos. They look like they’ve been built out of spare parts — chunky bodies, tiny eyes, tusks that feel wildly unnecessary — and they move with a confidence that suggests they’ve never once considered apologising for anything. If you see one, it’s immediately clear you are the visitor, not them.

There’s something oddly impressive about them though. They wander around like they’ve got nowhere to be and nothing to prove, tearing up the ground, ignoring everyone, and generally acting like nature’s grumpiest lawnmower. No panic, no rush, just pure stubborn momentum. Wild boar don’t sneak, don’t hurry, and definitely don’t care. They exist entirely on their own terms, which is both terrifying and weirdly admirable.
