👏🏾South Carolina State University is making history. For the first time ever, an HBCU flag will fly atop the South Carolina State House in Columbia. The Bulldogs’ flag celebrates their 40 to 38, four overtime win to claim the National HBCU Championship.

 The flag will be raised on Martin Luther King Jr. Day January nineteenth alongside the American and state flags. After the ceremony, the flag will be presented to the championship team during their victory parade in Orangeburg.
