If there’s one place in Vietnam you have to visit… it’s Hội An 🏮

Old Town Hội An is one of those places that instantly makes you slow down.

Once a major trading port between the 15th and 19th centuries, it blends Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and European influences in the most beautiful way. The well-preserved architecture, artisan roots, and everyday life here earned it UNESCO status — and you can truly feel that history as you wander.

🏮 Lantern-lit streets and a glowing river that feel pure magic at night
🏮 A rich artisan culture known for silk, ceramics, spices, and handcrafted goods
🏮 Historic assembly halls and craft villages still woven into daily life
🏮 Custom-made clothing and hands-on workshops like jewelry, leather or lantern making
🏮 Incredible food everywhere, plus endless little shops to explore

By the end of our time here, we realized we were much more daytime Hội An people — the nighttime lanterns and lantern boats are absolutely a must-see, but daytime wandering felt calmer, less crowded, and perfect for soaking it all in.

By the end of it all… we fell in love with Hội An 💛
