Sean graduated from the College of Fine and Applied Arts with a degree in Music Education and a minor in Psychology. During his five years with the Marching Illini trumpet section, he served as a music section leader for his final two seasons.

Sean recently accepted a position in his hometown of Mount Prospect, IL, where he will serve as the 5th grade band director for District 57 at both Fairview and Lions Park Elementary Schools.

Reflecting on his time with the Marching Illini, Sean is grateful for the lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and meaningful experiences that shaped his college journey. His advice to future band members: “Appreciate the small moments, and be curious—not judgmental.”
