For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @christinakubrak & @teddygary6 ✨

"Without Rutgers, Teddy and I would never have met. 8 years ago I moved into my first off campus house on Stone Street. 10 girls, 7 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, you can only imagine the organized chaos that went on there. We had the two upper apartments and the downstairs apartment was rented by 4 guys. Teddy didn’t live there but he was close friends with those 4 guys. The guys threw a party at the beginning of the semester so a few of us girls went downstairs to check it out. I remember this like it was yesterday, I take one step into their house and Teddy spots me and immediately starts singing the song “she’s a maniac manic on the floor” and locks me into a corner. Thinking to myself, hmm he’s weird, I walked away un-phased.

After that party we bumped into each other here and there and started to build a friendship that eventually turned into a serious relationship. We had our first official date at Harvest Moon, where we still frequent regularly. Our love for football tailgates is still going strong even considering the teams stats. And our mouths still drool when we think of Stuff Yer Face strombolis and fish bowls. We took our engagement pictures all around college Ave campus and George street and it was so fun to reminisce old memories. Rutgers University will forever hold a special spot in our hearts. We’re getting married this June in upstate New York and can not wait for the next chapter of our lives together!"
