For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @pablobe1 & @aeshamehta ✨

"We met at a Halloween party Fall 2021 at the Verve. I remember not being in the mood to go out that night. One of my friends convinced me to get out of the house and go with him to this party. The strange thing is that even though I didn't particularly feel like partying that night, I had the sensation that I somehow needed to be at that party. When I get to the Verve, I was just talking to my friend and a few of his friends in a group. I was mostly keeping to myself most of the night. About an hour later she walked in with her group of friends and they started a dance circle. She pulled me into the circle and we starting dancing. The attraction was instant and we stayed together throughout the rest of the party. We got each other on social media and met up the next day. 

We enjoyed each other's company and loved getting to know each other. From there we started a relationship and I could not be happier. We learned a lot about each other's cultures and our hobbies. We love going on spontaneous adventures together and having little photoshoots everywhere we go. Going horseback riding is one of my favorite memories with her. She always told me she wanted to do it since she was a little girl and seeing her face light up that day the way it did, absolutely made my day and makes me smile just thinking of it. Meeting her has been one of the highlights of my Rutgers experience. She brightens up my day, and knows how to pick me up when I'm down. She always keeps her fun, loving energy everywhere she goes, and I could not imagine spending my time with anyone else. I owe us meeting to Rutgers and am forever grateful to have met her and call her mine."
