💢 On Tuesday, the Saudi-led coalition carried out a 'limited' airstrike on Yemen’s Mukalla port, targeting two UAE-linked ships that it said were carrying weapons for Yemen’s Southern Transitional Council

🗣️ Abu Dhabi denied the claim, stating that the vessels were intended for use by UAE forces operating in Yemen

➡️ In response, Yemen’s Presidential Council cancelled the joint defence agreement with the UAE and called for the immediate withdrawal of all Emirati forces

🪖 Following the call, the UAE announced an end to its military presence in Yemen
