Noah Schnapp has opened up about filming Will's coming out scene in Stranger Things.

In episode 7 of season 5, Will tells his friends and family that he is gay.

In a recent interview with Variety, Schnapp opened up about filming the scene: "It’s just so parallel to my own journey. I re-read some of my coming out texts that I had sent, and I listened to certain songs that I listened to when I was coming out and tried to pull from my own reality as much as I could,"

Talking about coming out in the 80s, he continued: "Will probably thought he’d be abandoned and lose everything."
