Kristen is a Leader of UA’s BEAT (Black Employees Achieving Together) Teammate Resource Group, and today she shares how the experience has provided her with opportunities to build relationships across the business and to influence change in the company.
 
“It’s important to me that we provide our Black teammates the ability to collaborate with each other, network across business units and to most importantly bond over common values and goals within our community. One of the biggest impacts anyone can make is being present, being vocal and speaking the truth.  Being present at the table means our true voice and the voice of our community can resonate throughout our business.  BEAT includes teammates from all areas of the organization, which means that we, as a general body, are present in most every business unit. BEAT has a critical seat at the table and we have intentionally opened up lines of communication not only with our CEO, Patrik Frisk but also with his Executive Leadership Team.
